UNA Soccer finishes regular season; looks to Conference Tourney

BRISTOL, Tenn. — The University of North Alabama scored four second half goals on the way to 5-0 soccer win over King College in the regular-season finale for both schools. North Alabama scored in the fourth minute to take the early lead but didn’t add to its lead until 48 minutes later. The Lions close the regular season at 15-3 overall and will begin play in the Gulf South Conference Tournament on Friday in Pensacola, Fla.

CLEVELAND, Miss. — The University of North Alabama women’s soccer team closed out the Gulf South Conference portion of its regular season with a 4-0 road win at Delta State Wednesday. With the win the Lions improved to 14-3 overall and 6-1 in the GSC, clinching a second place finish in the league standings.

UNA built a 2-0 halftime lead and then added two more second half goals. Jennifer Osmond got the first goal at the 34:24 mark off an assist from Chloe Roberts. Stephanie Bradshaw then scored just over four minutes later, at 37:49, to make it 2-0. Roberts also assisted on that goal.
