VALDOSTA, Ga. — After being shut out in its regular-season game against Valdosta State, the North Alabama offense was determined to get some revenge in Saturday’s Division II playoff opener against the Blazers.

But it was the UNA defense that made sure there would be no shutout this time. The Lions forced seven Valdosta State turnovers, including four in the first quarter, en route to a 43-20 victory over the Blazers.

The win moves UNA (9-3) into the second round of the playoffs next Saturday at Delta State.
