Lions top-ranked in Coaches Poll
The final Golf World/NIKE Golf Division II Coaches Poll of the fall season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, NIKE Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). Despite receiving only one first-place vote out of the 20 available, the University of North Alabama is ranked No. 1 team in the final Division II coaches’ poll of the fall and enters the spring as the top ranked team in the nation.
UNA rallies for 2nd place as host of D2 Preview
The University of North Alabama men’s golf team made up eight strokes in the final round but it wasn’t quite enough to catch Chico State as the Wildcats claimed the championship of the Division II Preview Tournament at the Robert Trent Jones at the Shoals Fighting Joe Course.
